How did I turn $220 into $36,000? I have been betting on horses (Among other things) most of my adult life, which may lead you to believe that I have not grown up yet. The truth hurts, but betting on the Kentucky Derby can be very rewarding to say the least.
What I have had with lately is making combo bets in the Derby. I will take the top two favorites and bet them in exacta, trifecta and superfecta wagers.
What is an “Exacta?” An exacta bet is when you place and win a bet on the first and second place finishers. Obviously, the higher the odds of the horses, the higher the payout. A “trifecta” is when you choose the first, second and third place finishers in correct order. And the grand-daddy is the “superfecta,” which is choosing the first, second, third and fourth horses in correct order.
